The team at Edward Jones, Rob, Lily and Amalia, recently celebrated the opening of their new office. We asked Rob Payne, Financial Advisor to tell us a little about the business.
Tell us about your business.
Edward Jones is a full-service wealth management firm and is ranked #1 in Investor Satisfaction with Full-Service Wealth Management Firms, according to the J.D. Power 2023 Canada Full- Service Investor Satisfaction Study. We currently managed $1.8 trillion in assets for our more than 7 million clients.
Our office hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
Tell us about you, why do you do what you do?
I’m a Financial Advisor at Edward Jones and public board member of the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Ontario.
I specialize in working with families and professionals to develop investment strategies designed to get them from where they are today financially to where they want to be in the future.
I have a successful track record managing large cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional performance through contagious energy, and drive.
I have a passion for improving the financial lives of Canadians.
Why did you decide to locate in Bolton?
Bolton is an active, vibrant community and home to families and many successful businesses. Many of our existing clients live in Bolton and the Caledon area thus why we decided to re-locate our new office here.
What is the best bit of wisdom you have learned along the way?
What have I learned along the way? Investing isn't just about creating wealth. It's about what money can help you do. Build a brighter future for yourself and your loved ones. Or design a better world for all of us.
