Carquest Auto Parts and Worldpac recently opened their new distribution centre in Bolton. The 579,000-square-foot facility houses thousands of automotive aftermarket parts and products serving virtually every vehicle make and model on the road in Canada.
The two brands keep Canadian businesses and everyday commuters on the move. Each day, parts from the new facility are shipped across central and eastern Canada. These parts are sold at Carquest store locations to do-it-yourselfers and installed in vehicles by independently-owned auto repair shops. All said, the distribution centre serves more than 37,000 professional repair shops, automotive dealerships and other customers.
More than 200 team members – many of whom live locally in Bolton, Caledon and surrounding communities – are employed at the facility. Team members are family-oriented and driven to be leaders in the community. The team supports local nonprofits, including The Children’s Breakfast Clubs, which provide healthy meals and educational, cultural and recreational activities to children across Southern Ontario.
Carquest and Worldpac joined the Advance Auto Parts family of brands in 2014.
